German SS tank crew. Summer 1943-45. Two figures.

The main head cover for tankers was black field cap, which replaced special tanker beret back since 1940. Officers were very frequently using gray-green caps as well. Daily tankers uniform was army overalls with coat and trousers, however tankers were preferring to wear their black uniform in order to be recognizable among other army soldiers. In this case also instead of standard grey shirt with the tie, white shirt was worn.
