Tank uniform consisted of special black d. b. coat with buttonholes, and trousers. Under the coat tankers supposed to wear grey shirt. The early coats, approximately until 1942, had rose band on the collar. Later it remained only along the edges of shoulder straps and buttonholes with skull. Black field cap was used for head cover. however it was possible to meet a tankers, who wore the standard army grey field caps. Special boots with shortened bootlegs was also in use.
