Starting from 1943 Red Army soldiers and officers were supplied with new type of the uniform. Blouse style was changed from lay-down collar with buttonholes to stand-up collar and shoulder straps. Patched breast pockets on officer's blouses were replaced with internal closed pockets. similar blouses were worn by sergeants. Soldiers wore blouses without breast pockets. The ammunition, together with sacks, sometimes included knapsacks.
